It’s been a whirlwind week for the PETVORA team attending Interzoo, the world's leading trade fair for the pet industry, in Nuremberg, Germany. After meeting (and petting) every dog, perro, hund, chien, cane, and cachorro we possibly could, we’re ready to get back to what we do best: finding ways to help pets stay connected, protected, cared for, and safe.
It was a thrill to be there, and we’ve come back highly inspired by the insightful questions and helpful suggestions that help us fine-tune PETVORA devices to keep pets better connected throughout the world. With several key updates recently implemented, more features soon to be added, and new products on the horizon, Interzoo offered us an excellent opportunity to put our best foot forward as we expand our presence in Europe and push forward on our dream of worldwide support for loving pet parents.
The Product Showcase
True to form, we had our cutting-edge pet wearables, the PetVora Collar and the PetVora Collar Air, on full display. Introducing the core functionalities of our GPS location tracking combined with health & activity monitoring, all brought together by PETVORA’s exclusive AI, we grabbed a lot of attention from pet industry professionals hoping to know more, often for personal reasons as much as professional ones.
You won’t find anyone at a pet product expo that doesn’t love animals, so it was great to discuss all of the use cases we’ve seen and that they were able to imagine.
AI was particularly interesting for many visitors, summarizing health and activity compared to a baseline and combining it with detailed data from our breed database to give helpful insights to help in caring for and training a new puppy, managing anxiety for a traumatized rescue, or slowing physical decline of an aging senior dog.
However, the main draw, as per usual, is GPS location tracking. Far too many pet parents intimately know the anxiety of dealing with a missing or runaway dog. While the PetVora Collar Air alerts you when your dog wanders too far and helps you know where they are at all times and the flagship PetVora Collar takes protection a step further with training-enforced virtual fences, there are still a lot of places where cellular networks just don’t provide coverage.
That’s exactly why the star of our booth quickly proved to be the upcoming PetVora Smart Collar Air Ultra.
PetVora Smart Collar Air Ultra
Designed to transmit data directly via satellite when cellular coverage is unavailable, the PetVora Smart Collar Air Ultra makes your dog findable virtually anywhere - courtesy of a built-in Qualcomm 9205S modem. Boasting the same IP68 waterproof design as other PETVORA devices and equipped with a solar panel for emergency off-grid charging, the PetVora Smart Collar Air Ultra is built to keep up with your dog, no matter how rough things get.
It even features PETVORA’s AI, giving dog owners detailed insights into their adventurous companions. Moreover, in an emergency situation, users can connect to the PetVora Smart Collar Air Ultra via Bluetooth to send an emergency satellite message to ask for help, both in intense rescue situations in the wilderness or even after a natural disaster where phone services are unavailable.
What Comes Next
Now that Interzoo has come to a close, the PETVORA team is getting right back to our main passion: innovating technology to empower pet parents.
New behavior detection features and deeper AI insights are already on the way to the PetVora Collar and PetVora Collar Air, so we’ve got a lot of work to do.
